The project aimed to realize a new office building in Merano. In this process a single space on three levels was created, which still allows the daylight to reach the already existing building behind the new construction and at the same time makes itself visible from the street, because of its overhanging edge. Two sectional planes rule the shape of the construction and, at the same time, they protect the privacy and reach out for the best lightning conditions. A row made of rings surrounds the sectional planes, gives them shelter and makes the facade recognizable. The staircase forms the linking element between the new construction and the old building.
