The project is part of a restructuring plan with 130.000 sqm. with the aim to realize a city within the city. The former military barracks give way to a new area with apartments, office buildings and hotels. The offices will be accommodated in four new buildings that fill the former parade ground of the barracks. These buildings are raised up from the ground to form a sort of hanging linking elements in order to preserve the idea of the parade ground. The other buildings will have the shape of the adjoining barracks, although their character will come from the used materials: wool, steel, stone and plastics, according to the clients working in the offices. One linking element for all the buildings will be the search for “Zero Energy”.
